Registration and user information
Public content and individual services of Kezera (e.g. the search) can be used without prior registration. For the creation of content on Kezera, a user account is required for which you have to submit some personal information (username, e-mail address and password). Other information (e.g. avatar, location, etc.) are optional. Some of this data (e.g. username) is accessible to the public.
We may use your information to contact you in some cases concerning the usage of the service (e.g. via e-mail). You can decline getting additional information from us in the settings of your account.
To get an insight into the uses of Kezera and to be able to continuously improve the service, we automatically collect some information about you while you are using the website. This data contains e.g. your IP address, pages visited, browser type, search terms and other interactions with Kezera.
Like many websites, Kezera works with so-called cookies. These are small text files which are stored on your computer and contain information about your settings (e.g. language preferences) so that you do not have to set up your account each time you visit Kezera. We also point out that data transmission over the internet can always have vulnerabilities. We will do everything we can to avoid them, but we cannot guarantee a permanent, full-length protection of your data (or parts thereof) from access by third parties.
